Elit-S Training Centre was nominated for EITA 2025 for contributing to adult education through the Erasmus+ programme with a partnership project with Gondomar Municipality, Porto, Portugal. The project is a predecessor of our current project SilverEdge which builds up and further develops and digitalises the courses for adult learners 55+ and mentors of adults. EITA were started in 2021 by the European Commission. This year the EITA are granted for the first time in the sector of adult education. And Elit-S Training Centre is the only runner-up organization to the only award winning organization in the category of adult education. We are happy and proud! Peroto Club, Sofia, Bulgaria

Elit-S team attended a Partnership Building Activity promoted by Studioprogetto Soc. Coop. Soc., in Agrigento, Italy. We were happy to meet new colleagues from a number of European countries such as Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Greece, as well as Curacao. This was a wonderful opportunity to disseminate about our Erasmus+ SilverEdge project and its achievements. The event helped further collaborate on building up future partnerships in education. The project teams gathered online to review the work done on the platform so far. The meeting proceeded with a discussion on the courses’ finalization. The next point to discuss on the agenda was the logistics of the onsite piloting event in Antibes, scheduled for 23rd – 25th September 2025. The French partner sent details about the venue, address, starting time. The programme of the piloting was approved by everyone present.

Members of Elit -S Training Centre took part in the Open Research Bulgarian Incubator ORBIT conference at FMI, Sofia University on 1st July 2025! During the event, our team disseminated project insights and distributed informational leaflets to educators and mentors from across the region. This outreach effort aimed to raise awareness of our latest initiatives and foster meaningful collaboration with key teaching professionals.

On June 25th and 26th, the União das Freguesias Projects Office welcomed partners from the European project SilverEdge – Empowering Adults 55+ for Workforce Success, within the scope of the Erasmus+ program. During the meeting, representatives from Elit-S (Bulgaria), Esquare (France) and the Parish Council worked together to analyse the progress of the two courses under development, review and refine the training modules, define strategies for digitalising the content and plan the next steps for its validation and dissemination to the target audience: mentors and adults over 55. A productive meeting, focused on the empowerment and active inclusion of this age group in the job market!

Online Silver Edge project meeting

Our SilverEdge project is advancing. Today’s online meeting reviewed the progress in the design of the platform and the courses. We scheduled our next steps in the implementation of the project. we are looking forward to our reunion in Portugal in June to probe, discuss, consider, schedule.

On January 20, 2025, the 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐞 team held an online meeting to advance the mission of empowering adults 55+ for workforce success.

Key highlights include:

✔Discussions on the design of our e-learning platform, focusing on user-friendliness and interactivity.

✔ Agreement on the structure of two courses tailored to our audience’s needs.

✔ Planning for upcoming events in Portugal and France.

✔ Strengthening our social media presence to enhance visibility.

Kick-off Meeting 14.-15.11.2024

During this KOM, the coordinator from Elit-S welcomed the partners from Portugal and France, introduced the SilverEdge project’s objectives, and reviewed its timeline and deliverables. Each partner outlined their strengths and roles, and the group elected the Management Committee before formally signing the Partnership Agreement. After discussing task distribution, branding, communication strategies, and initial deadlines, the consortium focused on refining the content of the first soft skills course for adults aged 55+, exploring engaging teaching methods. They then examined the platform’s design and functionalities, clarified questions, confirmed timelines, and concluded the meeting with mutual gratitude and a clear roadmap.
